Last night, at the Firefly, a group of splashy, aging gays celebrated a marriage. There were a couple regulars in the group and they had a cute cake with two dudes on the top and were obviously a little swoony and it was perfect. As they began to leave tables around them offered congratulations and the most amazing thing happened. At 10pm on a Wednesday night the entire restaurant burst into applause.
