There was another page, I forget where, I feel like maybe it was even on somethingawful where they took children's drawings and made real sculptures from them. The specific example I remember was a child's drawing of a plane where they went ahead and drew the airplane from a profile view, and included the wing that would be hidden by perspective as extruding from the top of the plane, and the sculptor did just that with his 3d version.

I really like the guys costume work in that image, but feel like the photography itself could be a lot better. I'd honestly kind of enjoy seeing this shot in a light stage with a white backdrop (to match the drawing) with a cool remade sun hanging in the top corner..</description>
